The Wrath of Grapes vs. Spicy Chicken Biscuit

This morning I was seriously suffering the wrath of grapes…damn those tannins.  I could think of only one thing that would beat my self-inflicted ailment…

Chick fil a spicy chicken biscuit - breakfast sized portion of their boneless chicken breast, seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers, hand-breaded to perfection, pressure cooked in 100% peanut oil and served on a freshly baked buttermilk biscuit

Just look at that beauty.  I haven’t let myself have one of these in like 2 months because it has a whopping 450 calories, 20g fat and 1300mg sodium (yikes), but it was totally worth it because it busted through phase 1 of the wrath of grapes like a champ.  The Lincoln Lawyer (which I really liked…maybe because of Matthew…) helped me bust through phase 2.  A nap helped with phase 3.  And a quest through Inman, SC in search of ice cream conquered phase 4 – the final battle.  Some things we saw on our pursuit of creamy-ness…

I took this pic from a moving car, but it really is beautiful.  John told me that they provide, or have provided, sod for Augusta National…pretty cool, huh?  Our journey ended upon our discovery of Lynn’s.

Lynn's - Hot Dogs, Ice Cream, Soups, Sandwiches, and More!

We found a new ice cream place – just what I need…they sell all kinds of other stuff too; mainly “Lynn’s Creations.”  We were most interested in the Mayfield Ice Cream though…duh.
