TV Shows vs. Blogging

Well I’m glad that the scheduled post ended up working on Friday!  So check out what I missed over 3 days of construction…

finished patio woop woop!

That’s Wayne on the steps with one of his hard workers…hey Wayne, hey hard worker.  It sort of looks like a pool from the back deck with my dumpy camera but those are actually the brick pavers.  I’ll get a better pic tomorrow.

Sunday and Monday’s TV shows took over my life.

I have to admit that I’ve chosen TV two nights in a row over blogging.   Not enough time in the day.  My need to watch TV trumped my need to blog for the first time in a while.  Last night, after the drive back from Charleston, I had to prepare myself for 1.5 glorious hours of HBO.  I watched True Blood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and the season premier of Entourage…duh.  A few things about these 3…

1. True Blood has gotten a little out of control – someone’s face is rotting off, vampires are mad at possessed witches casting spells, a dude (who can apparently turn into an alligator) killed both of his parents and threw them in a swamp to be eaten by real alligators, etc…HOWEVER, I am still watching in full support of team Eric and Sookie.

2. On this week’s Curb, Larry’s role as a Jewish Social Assassin enjoying Palestinian chicken was hilarious and had me laughing out loud..lol…ha ha.

3. The season premier of the final season of Entourage left me a bag of mixed emotions.  So happy that Vince is back – but that happiness was paired with a deep sadness because a) E and Sloan aren’t together and b) Mrs. Ari is seeing someone else and caused real tears for Ari…maybe for me too…can’t wait for next week.

Tonight, I chose to indulge in a little Bach.  But EW.  Pretty much all I have to say.  Ashley had another guy run away from her…figures…

Back to reality…

I didn’t work out Sunday, but I did do Power Yoga with Leslie today.  I forgot my camera all day so I don’t have any food pics – and really didn’t eat anything worth sharing besides tonight’s dinner at The Purple Onion in Saluda, NC.  That calls for a separate review post though.  Looks like I have some catching up in the blog world to do tomorrow – on top of a super busy day at work.  Goodnight world!
